For all occasions, I have always designed my own invitations, thank you cards, business cards, and more. The problem with that is not always having the best quality place available to print them for me! I was so excited when Basic Invite reached out to me for a collaboration to show you my new favorite place to order cards from.
The first thing I want to point out about Basic Invite is that you are able to make so many customizations to your invites and then have an affordable option to order a sample of your work before you commit to ordering them by the hundreds (WOO BIG PARTIES!). With the samples, I am able to see my design ideas and colors options come to life. Speaking of colors, did I mention that there are over 180 different color options?! Well there is, and they are fabulous. If you are not good at designing your own card, don’t worry, they have tons of templates to choose from that you can start with and make it your own unique wedding invitation with font options and colors.
Here is a sample Party invite I customized to match my theme! It was SO easy.
P.S…This might or might not be the date of the actual party, so if you are reading this post you are getting the inside scoop at whats happening around here!
So what happens once you’ve made your choices for the invitation and need other things like thank you card, envelopes, and RSVP cards? THERE ARE MATCHING SETS! This makes life so much simpler once you’ve decided your color scheme and card decor. After the matching sets come the envelopes that can be color matched to your invitations with up to 40 different envelope color choices that will make your invites stand out among the drab white mail everyone receives.
For my wedding I remember the process after I ordered all my cards was actually worse than making all of these decisions because then I had to worry about my handwriting and licking all those envelopes closed. Well here’s the good news about Basic Invite. You can have your enveloped printed with your guests addresses on them (FOR FREE) AND all of their envelope seals are peal and stick. Uhggg why didn’t I find this place sooner!?
Among the matching sets are Clear options! This is so exciting to me. It is perfect for so many color schemes and looks so unique with everything. Check out the different sets I made with just one set of invites.
After your invites are all sent out, you can use their free personal wedding website to instantly upload all of your wedding details and directions which is very convenient for your guests. Your personal website is even designed to match your wedding invitations.
Basic invite doesn’t just do party invitations! *insert the “but wait, there’s more!” meme here* I can also use them to create a truly unique business with business cards and stationery that stands out. Check out this cool clear card i customized for myself! I LOVE IT.
